Deficiency

I don't know why exactly, but I like this picture.  It's called, Walk To The Moon.  I found it on this cool website called shareCG.  It reminds me of my manuscript because so much of the story is my main character, Gerry (G for short) going places he never imagined, doing things he never thought possible.  There are other people around him, other characters that he connects with, but G is completely alone because of the decisions he makes.  He hates the loneliness yet isolates himself. 
Right now I am working simultaneously on improving my manuscript, Redeeming The Time and continuing to work on the sequel, Wrestling Darkness.  I know exactly what I want to happen within the second book, but writing it is proving to be a great challenge.  I can see the stories inside my head, constantly playing like a movie.  The screen is enormous, I can see all the details and characters motivations.  I am the only one in the theatre, enjoying the show I hope millions will one day get to see. 
Most times my ability to write the event falls short.  But I will keep working. Keep writing and re-writing and re-re-writing and editing, once, twice, fifteen times.  I will do whatever it takes to get this story out and give it the  audience it deserves.  I know it is a story worth telling. 
The banner that identifies my story reads: one man, three stones, one chance to change everything.  But that isn't all this is. My book is not so easy to simplify.  The plot threads are fraught with complex characters whose lives are interwoven by this one man, Gerry.  He is the piece that draws the others together and he doesn't know it.  He feels unimportant, he thinks he isnt good enough.  He is deceitful, selfish and vengeful, and he smokes too much.  But by the end of it all, he will find what he is looking for and I think he will be better off.
